  • What if I don't want to be adjusted or receive a head massage at the end of the class in savasana (the relaxation pose at the end of all classes)?
I totally understand that physical touch is not for everyone. Please let me know at the beginning of each class if you prefer not to be adjusted. I also use a few drops of essential oils to perform a brief head, neck, and shoulder massage for a minute or two. No hard feelings; I will respect your privacy.
  • Is your yoga suitable for beginners?
Yes, I teach all levels and always accommodate newcomers. There will be variations for beginners and advanced practitioners.
  • What are the benefits of practicing yoga
The physical part of practicing Yoga - asanas - multidirectional, low-impact and safe for joints and knees, improve flexibility, strength, balance, and posture. Breathing - prayanama - is one of the most important elements of my yoga classes as well. Altogether Yoga helps to reduce stress, improve mental clarity, enhance overall physical well-being, and may answer some deeper, philosophical questions too.
  • What’s Vinyasa yoga?
Vinyasa yoga is a dynamic style that links breath with movement in a flowing sequence. It involves a variety of poses, often starting with Sun Salutations, and emphasises smooth transitions. This style builds strength, flexibility, and cardiovascular health, while promoting stress reduction and mindfulness.
  • Is yoga good for men doing weights, HIIT or other types of strength training e.g. martial arts?
Yes, yoga is excellent for men who do weightlifting, strength conditioning, HIIT, boxing, MMA, BJJ. It enhances flexibility, improves balance, aids muscle recovery, and reduces the risk of injury. Yoga also helps improve mental focus and reduces stress, complementing high-intensity workouts and weight training routines. Anastasia’s first clients were and still are crossfitters and martial art fighters so she’s familiar with their body capabilities and well-equipped to teach men.
  • Do I need to bring my own yoga mat?
Most studios I teach provide mats except the Nine Elms’ rooftop or when we practice at parks. Generally it is a good idea to bring your own for hygiene and comfort.
  • What is yoga?
Yoga is a holistic practice that combines physical postures, breathing exercises, meditation, and ethical principles to promote overall health and well-being.
  • What type of music you play in your classes?
In my yoga classes, I play calming, meditative and soft electronics, jazz, classical or afrobeats. Sound and music - key in my work! Here is my playlist for Mobility Flow with soothing instrumental music, gentle nature sounds, and ambient melodies. You are welcome to explore the playlist here. Let me know your thoughts!
  • How is Mobility different from Yoga?
Mobility training focuses on improving the range of motion and control of the joints through dynamic movements and exercises. It is often more targeted and functional, aiming to enhance athletic performance and daily activities. Yoga, on the other hand, combines physical postures, breath control, and meditation to promote overall physical and mental well-being. While both can improve flexibility, mobility training is more specialized for joint health and movement efficiency.
  • What type of yoga is good for pregnancy?
Prenatal yoga is specifically designed for pregnancy. It includes gentle stretching, breathing exercises, and relaxation techniques that are safe for both the mother and the baby. Prenatal yoga helps alleviate common pregnancy discomforts, improves sleep, and prepares the body for labor and delivery.
  • What should I wear to a yoga class?
Wear comfortable, breathable clothing that allows for a full range of motion. Yoga is typically practiced barefoot.
  • How do you combine yoga with Reiki in your teachings?
In my teachings, I combine yoga and Reiki by integrating Reiki energy healing into yoga sessions, especially during relaxation poses like Savasana. I offer specialised classes that focus on chakra balancing and emotional healing, incorporating hands-on Reiki adjustments with consent. This combination enhances relaxation, improves energy flow, and provides a holistic approach to well-being.

  • Do I need to believe in Reiki for it to work?
Belief in Reiki is not necessary for it to be effective. While having an open mind can enhance the experience, Reiki works independently of the recipient's belief system. The energy will flow where it is needed regardless of skepticism. Can Reiki help with chronic conditions? Reiki is not a cure for chronic conditions but can be a valuable complementary therapy. It can help manage symptoms, reduce stress, and improve overall quality of life. Always work with your healthcare provider when managing chronic conditions.
  • How does Reiki work?
Reiki practitioners believe that life force energy flows through us and is what causes us to be alive. If one's life force energy is low or blocked, it can lead to illness and stress. Reiki aims to balance this energy, clearing blockages and promoting well-being. Practitioners use their hands to channel energy into the recipient's body, helping to restore harmony. What can I expect during a Reiki session? During your private Reiki session, you'll rest comfortably fully clothed on a massage table with your eyes closed, surrounded by soothing music, dim lights, and the gentle aroma of essential oils. Reiki energy is transmitted through non-invasive hand placements on or just above your body. You may feel warmth, tingling, or deep relaxation during the session. Session usually lasts 60 minutes.
  • Do you provide home-visits?
Yes, Reiki can be done at a client’s location or home within Zone1 in London. The rate for home-visits is slightly higher to cover the travel costs and time. Price for 60min Reiki at client’s location is £130.
  • Is Reiki safe?
Yes, Reiki is generally considered safe and non-invasive. It complements other medical treatments and therapies and does not interfere with them. However, it should not replace conventional medical care. Always consult with your healthcare provider about any treatments you are considering. What are the benefits of Reiki? Reiki is believed to promote relaxation, reduce stress and anxiety, improve sleep, and enhance overall well-being. Some studies suggest it can help with pain management and support mental health by reducing symptoms of depression and anxiety. How many Reiki sessions will I need? The number of sessions needed varies from person to person. Some people feel benefits after one session, while others may require multiple sessions to achieve their desired outcomes. Your Reiki practitioner can help you develop a plan based on your individual needs and goals.
  • What are the prices for Infinity Reiki services?

  • How to Prepare for a Reiki Session?
Ahead of your first 1:1 Reiki, we arrange a short phone consultation to discuss your questions, and then set the time-date. Choose loose, comfortable clothes. Drink plenty of water before and after the session. Set an intention on you want to achieve from the session, like relaxation or healing. Avoid heavy meals and caffeine right before the session. Share any specific concerns or health conditions only if you feel comfortable. Arrive a few minutes early to relax. Approach the session with an open mind and willingness to receive energy. Post-your treatment, drink plenty of water and keep a journal handy to capture any reflections or changes.
  • Can Reiki be done remotely?
Yes, Reiki can be performed remotely, which is known as distance Reiki. The practitioner sends healing energy to the recipient, regardless of physical distance. Many people find distance Reiki just as effective as in-person sessions.
